New ShMITTs In Stock!

Two new SchMITTs have arrived. We’ve got an all white one for washing and a yellow/white one (like the original one but the colors are reversed). The mostly yellow ShMITT is for cleaning interior surfaces and it has a slightly coarse texture. It works well with a good interior cleaner on plastic, vinyl, and even leather. The backside of the Interior ShMITT is soft white foam and really comes in handy when applying interior protectants.

Eckler's 27th Annual Corvette Reunion

Just a reminder, Ecklers’s 27th Annual Reunion is this weekend in Titusville, Fl (northwest of Cape Canaveral). Max and the whole gang will be on hand for the festivities. The event includes an impromptu car show, swap meet, seminars, a Corvette sale and more. Visit http://www.ecklers.com/reunion.asp for a complete schedule of events. Look for pictures next week on Autogeekonline.

Gearing up for Christmas

Its October, but we’re already looking ahead to Christmas! Visit our Holiday Gift Ideas to view our most popular gift items.

We’ve had some questions about creating a gift registry on Autogeek so friends and family will know exactly what’s on your wish list. Unfortunately, our website provider doesn’t have the capability. Our suggestion is to put the items you would like in the shopping cart. You can either print this page out and “accidentally” leave it where it will definitely be found, or email it to family members and friends. Sure it’s a direct approach, but it makes it easy for them to buy you something you’ll like and it guarantees that you’ll get exactly what you want this Christmas.

Collinite is in stock

Collinite is the newest addition to Autogeek. There has been a lot of excitement on the forum about Insulator Wax #845, a long-lasting carnauba-based liquid wax that is clear coat safe. Collinite also makes some quality carnauba paste waxes that have the look and feel of an old-fashioned car wax; they are even packaged in tin cans! We have confirmed that Collinite’s Prewax Cleaner and Liquid Sapphire Wax are formulated for single stage finishes, but the other waxes are safe on clear coat paint. Collinite is on sale for a limited time and for the next week Max is throwing in a free microfiber towel.

New Flitz Waxx Speed Wax

Flitz Waxx is water-based and therefore safe for your vehicle. Petroleum distillates can dry out automotive paint over time. Flitz’s water-based formula is also better for the environment as it does not contribute to ozone, like solvent-based products do.

Flitz Waxx can be used on nearly any solid surface: clear coat, gelcoat, lacquer, fiberglass, auto paint, marine finishes, ceramic & powder coatings, polyurethane, Plexiglas, Eisenglass, acrylics, plastics, and chrome.

Around the house, use Flitz Waxx on marble, granite, Corian, stainless steel, tub surrounds, shower doors, and more!

A little Flitz Waxx goes a long way; you can cover approximately 1,100 sq. ft. with one 16 oz. bottle.

We recommend using a Cobra Super Plush Deluxe Microfiber Towel to buff off Flitz Waxx. This super soft towel is gentle on all types of finishes and it has microfiber edges to further protect the vehicle from potential swirls.

Flitz Spray Waxx gives your vehicle a glossy carnauba finish in a fast, water-based spray formula. It’s the perfect wax for anyone who wants quality paint protection but has little time to apply it. That’s why it’s called Flitz Waxx Speed Wax.

PC7424HD Back In Stock!!

Autogeek.net is pleased to announce that the PC7424HD Plus is back in stock!! This is the same great tool that we all know and love, but this one has a 16 gauge cord that is 25 feet long! That is 2.5 times longer than the normal 7424. This is great news for anybody using a mobile power source and doesn’t want to have to haul an additional extention cord around.
The other great news about this tool is that the PC7424HD uses a 16 gauge power cord. In the world of power cords, smaller gauge is better. The power gets to the machine in a much more efficient manner with this low gauge cord. Lower gauge means thicker cord too, so you won’t have to worry about accidently severing the cord through any number of accidental situations that could occur.
