Photos from the Culver City Car Show

1961 Plymouth Fury

An Autogeek staffer was in town for the Culver City Car Show on May 8, 2010 in Culver City, Calif. The show is called “Cruisin’ Back to the ’50s” and features primarily classic cars and a few modern models. The show also features custom cars created by George Barris for film and television.

George Barris has created cars for such shows as the Dukes of Hazzard, the original Batman series, The Beverly HillBillies, Knight Rider, Jurassic Park, and the list goes on and on!

The show features cars dating as far back as the 1920s to new cars, like a 2010 Camaro. Check out our Facebook photo album to see some of the fantastic cars at the “Cruisin’ Back to the ’50s” Car Show.

Griot's Garage Plastic PolishGriot’s Garage Plastic Polish 8 oz.

It works gently on softer plastics and produces great results on hard plastics with 3-4 applications. Use it everywhere you’d use Griot’s Garage Plastic Cleaner. This pair of products is essential for convertible top window care!

These three Griot’s Garage products are available right now at Autogeek.net. To see our complete selection of convertible top care products, go to our convertible top care page.

If you’re not sure whether your convertible top is fabric or vinyl, do the spot test. Drop a little water on the convertible top. Rub it in using your finger. If the water absorbs into the top, it is fabric. If the water does not soak in, it’s vinyl.

New and Improved DP Gloss Tire Gel

DP Gloss Tire Gel

Before and After

If you liked our old formula, you’ll love this version! DP Gloss Tire Gel now has longer lasting, more durable rubber protection. The penetrating gel guards your tires against UV rays, ozone, moisture, and dirt – all while providing a rich black finish.

Tires tell the tale of your vehicle. Tires are the single biggest indicator of how long it has been since your last detail because the tire dressing tends to wear off first. DP Gloss Tire Gel breaks the rule. The ultra durable tire gel bonds to the rubber (or vinyl) to outlast other tire dressings by weeks!

DP Gloss Tire Gel penetrates deep below the surface to hydrate and refresh dull, dry rubber. The gel actually cures to the rubber to create a long-lasting finish that resists sling-off. Because the gel is within the rubber, it does not rinse off in the rain and it even lasts through a wash or two.

DP Gloss Tire Gel is like moisturizer for rubber tires and trim. It improves the look and texture of the rubber, making it look darker and more supple. Advanced UV and ozone protectants block out rubber-aging agents to keep tires looking like new.

Use DP Gloss Tire Gel for the health and longevity of your tires! DP Gloss Tire Gel contains no petroleum distillates and the formula is VOC (volatile organic compound) compliant and water-based.

The finish created by DP Gloss Tire Gel is deep and dark with a natural-looking sheen. Tires will feel dry to the touch, never greasy. Use DP Gloss Tire Gel inside your vehicle, too. The clean-feeling finish protects and enhances interior surfaces, like the dashboard, door panels, console, and vinyl seats.

For the best results, allow DP Gloss Tire Gel to cure to the rubber for 30 minutes before driving or applying another coat. Do not allow the gel to pool around raised letters or around the edge of the wheel. Thin, even coats will prevent sling-off and allow for optimum longevity. This water-based gel will not affect the clear coat or painted surfaces.

Create a rich shine on your tires to complement the one that you?ve created on your paint. DP Gloss Tire Gel is a shining example of what a tire dressing can be.

Directions:

  1. Clean the wheels and tires thoroughly with DP Gel Wheel Cleaner. Make sure the tires are dry before applying tire dressing.
  2. Pour a nickel size amount of DP Gloss Tire Gel onto a tire dressing applicator. Apply a thin coat to each tire.
  3. Allow it to cure for 30 minutes before applying additional coats or driving.

32 oz.
