Commissioned by Nissan Motor Corporation, the Lola/T-92-10 was completed with a Formula-1 based Judd/V-10 after Nissan withdrew from racing. The Lola/T-92-10 was raced during the 1992 racing season by the Euroracing team, whose owner financed the completion of the car. It raced at Monza(DNS) and Silverstone, before entering the 24 hours of LeMans where it placed 13th. Also during the 92 season, Lola/T-92-10 placed 4th at Donington, was a non-finisher at Suzuka, and a non-starter at Magny-Cours (failed scrutineering).
After 1992, the car was auctioned by the Dutch government to a broker, who sold it to an American enthusiast. After competing in select HSR events, the Lola/T-92-10 was sold to its present owner, Stan Wattles.
Stan Wattles is a former Indy Car driver and owner of Metro Racing Systems. The Lola/T-92-10 underwent an extensive restoration at Metro’s Florida facility to restore its 1992 Le Mans livery. Come see the completed project at Detail Fest on February 24 from 9 am to 4 pm.
